How We Started:

The journey of motherhood transformed my life in ways I could have never imagined. In 2011-2012, I experienced the joy and the heartbreak of welcoming my first daughter into the world. Born prematurely, she graced our lives for just three months before passing away. Her memory will always be with me, and the lessons from that experience shaped the mother I would become. Years later, in 2021-2022, I found myself on this path again, pregnant with my second daughter. These two life-changing experiences filled my heart with love, resilience, and a deep understanding of what it truly means to nurture and protect a child.

This is how Mama and Bubba was born—out of a desire to honor every aspect of motherhood, both its beauty and its trials. I connected with countless other mothers through focus groups, NCT classes, toddler meet-ups, and soft play sessions. Their stories echoed my own: pregnancy is a miraculous journey but often fraught with mental, emotional, and physical challenges. Over 95% of mothers I spoke with shared their struggles with mental health during pregnancy, stemming from the changes in their bodies and their sense of self. Many expressed a wish to capture and hold onto more memories of their motherhood journey. And 80% of parents worried about the safety and quality of products their little ones would touch.

Listening to these voices inspired our first product line—carefully designed with love, respect, and a commitment to providing only the best for mothers and their babies. Mama and Bubba is more than a brand; it’s a tribute to the strength, resilience, and unconditional love that every mother carries. It’s a reminder that every step of this journey deserves to be cherished and supported.
